2008 Shelby GT CHEAP backyard sub-standard hack job…
I gotta agree with George on this one.
We've had 6 SGT's pass through our dealership and every single one of them had cosmetic issues that were on parts handled by SAI after it left Ford's control. Striping, hood scoop, strut tower brace, etc. with flaws that would make me uneasy if I were shelling out the premium over a regular Mustang GT.
The SGT's are awesome looking cars and certainly a worthy car to wear the Shelby name, but these cars have more "character" scratched/etched into them than a well-heeled buyer might like.

You are right though, they are awesome looking cars and every time I look at the picture of my old plain GT, looking like a 4WD (thought not as bad as a GT500) next to my SGT I just smile.
Alright! The back and forth childish nonsense stops NOW! Those who feel the need to get the last word despite claiming to be finished...stop! Do NOT insult other members....adult discussion CAN and does happen in this world and this forum should be no different....if you can't participate in an adult discussion or cannot refrain from calling someone a "punk" or any other derogatory comment then walk away from the computer or don't read the thread! This is the Mustang Source and not "Days or our lives"! This is a place for like minded enthusiasts to interact and that CAN be done without resorting to all this nonsense!
The good, bad and the ugly CAN be discussed without being ugly about it....think before you hit "reply".
Due to the childish nature of some comments and constant need for the last word, if it becomes repetative behavior then the repeat offenders will be given a "time out" over in the corner.....act like a child, get treated like one.
