Tire Satisfaction?

Is everyone happy with the stock BFs? They are a very very decent 79 bucks a tire from certain vendors for an ultra performance summer. Any complaints? Compliments?

Mine are BF's T/A KDWS all season tires. I wonder if Canadian cars get the all season and American cars get summer tires -- with Ford thinking Canadians are knee deep in snow and water. At any rate the tires hold the road well and are quiet. It is a stiff ride but I don't think that has much to do with the tires.

Hey CaliforniaCS, Where can I get the BF for $79 a tire? At that price it won't bother me so much when my son comes home with chunks of rubber on the rear quarter panels.

Right down the road here at Tire Rack for the 79 buck a tire. But I've change my stock tires to BF Goodrich KDW (TT) 265/40/18 on the back and 245/40/18 on the front. We will see how they look in the spring when I install some lowering springs and stucts.

Also just won a 5.0 pro shifter off of eBay for $225 brand new, can't wait to install that too.

Sorry, correction, Ultra Performance All Season....the stock tires that all 18s come with. Do they skid easily in the wet or hold strong? What about dry performance?

Well the car hasn't started any rejection process yet and there is no warning on my dashboard about any pending explosions so I think they are doing Ok. No sidewall budge that I can see.

$79 . NTB here they are $199 installed. The BFG's I have are the KDWS M+S 235 50ZR18. if you have the same things there, I'll have you ship me some.

I will find out how they work tomorrow in the snow, but for wet traction they are great. I had Michelin X-1's on my Monte, FWD and thought those were good but I like these better. Did a hard brake from 50mph with out any sliding and a hard exceleration ( not WOT) and did not spin either.

Hahaa.. I just got to work with my "all-season BFs"... It was like Hitchcock movie... these tires are purely for tarmac only. 4-season? But hey, I knew that and also knew that Stang is not designed for snow either, still I like it. We have 10" of snow here...
