KC - these guys ought to be ordering through your dealership......I had mine in 8 weeks....I seem to be one of the few who received my order that quickly

I bet this car appears out of no where real soon. Some people have gotten them in as little as 6 weeks.

All I can say is I must have been at the RIGHT place at the RIGHT time. I ordered my car about the 6th of July at my local dealer and it was delivered and sitting in my garage the 3rd of August!! Less than 30 days!! Plus I was able to get it under sticker by One Grand!

It was definately a Factory order. My dealer didn't even know what the California Mustang was until I gave him all the information. He had to look it up on the internet because it was never brought up at any of their meetings!! People like us, I have found, know more about the cars then the dealers. You would think if you were a salesman, you would be reading any and everything about the kind of cars you are selling!!

They don't get paid to do that and if they did or had the time they'd most certainly never have a life at all ! spend what 10 hours on a lot only to make a commission per sale then by the time you get home try to have a quality of life with a wife & kids, It's not easy.
I guess that's why I fill mine in often maks him the smartest guy on the lot well almost there are a few gal's there that are most sharp !

Some of us weren't so lucky. My dealer not only knew what the CS was, they usually have a couple on the lot with a Shelby and were selling them within a couple of days of arrival. Since Ford sales were down over the last couple of months, I wonder how my dealer's strategy will change.

I was hoping to find a dealer like yours that wasn't savvy on the GT/CS front but, in So Cal, Stangs are pretty popular.

Hey Ed,

Where did you order your car from??

I saw a white GT/CS convertible on the TCH going in to town between McKenzie and Tillicum on my way home from work today at about 5:00.

Thought it way you.

Nope.

Even started a new thread...
http://forums.bradbarnett.net/showthread.php?t=59862

I was gonna give you a hard time about driving with the top up.

They should still be open... give them a call... and check the odometer when you get your car.

Maybe it was just a strange co-incidence, 1. I was sober, and 2. I did see a white GT/CS convertible driving into town today at 5:00. I know this for a fact. The only thing I can't be certain of is if it had plates on it or not. It was coming toward me.

well if it wasn't on a carrier then not likely if it were by it self then I don't know, meh well see tomorrow. I guess if they went for a ride that would be the time to do it as the cleaner guy gets to clean it up after the fact, you know it will be funny if it were it & I mention it was seen being driven , and Cori is the first lady to drive it from partsdept but its her day off ?
