So much so you have inspired me to go ahead with this style stripe on my Pony.
You did the right thing not wrapping the stripe under the edge of the hood as it corresponds correctly with the way the small fender stripe stops at the beveled edge of the fender next to the headlamp.

Starfire, that looks great! Where did you get that and did you install it yourself? If so...difficult?
I am thinking about putting that same black on my Vista Blue GT/CS. I didnt want to remove the factory GT/CS stripes and I want the hood and sides to match.
