Question Soft boot for the GT/CS vert?

You have all been very accomodating with my questions and thanks but I have another. I have ordered a soft boot for my car -- whenever it arrives -- but recently read that it comes standard with vehicles sold in Canada. Can any Canadian Mustang purchaser verify that. If it is true I don't want the dealership to forget that and sell me the ordered one.

To the best on my knowledge, all Canadian GTs get the soft boot or tonneau cover as standard and included equipment. Your dealer should have known that. Same with the rear axle ratios - all Canadian GTs manuals are 3.55 as standard equipment; not so in the US where for '07 apparently the 3.55 has to option ordered, otherwise you get 3.31.

Interesting - wonder why the diff between Canadian and US Mustangs? I did have to pay for the 3:55 and the soft boot here in the US...

Thanks a lot. Actually my car will be identical to yours on the outside at least. Mine will be an automatic with the interior black/parchment. All options.

Sorry I wondered if I said that clearly. My Mustang will be identical to Tuco's. It's a black convertible. Interestingly enough my second choice was the Vist Blue. It was a tough decision.

It seems then that all Mustang convertibles must come with the soft boot. Now I know to expect it with mine. Thank you.

Only in Canada maybe , they think were British lol USA & Canada have so many differnt worded options, enough to drive one mad. I talked with a nice lady just the other day and her vert came with one ? sorry fogot to finish the only problem dhe said she has is dog hair! and a lint roller fix's that fine and her top look really good.

Comox it was for me too I had the black with black/parchament interior on order and then changed it to the Vista blue after remembering how hard is was to keep my '05 GT coupe clean....I still think that black mustangs when clean are just about the best looking out there! One thing I've noticed about the non-black Mustangs is you can see the black accent pieces better - like the grill openings, headlight buckets, rear diffuser/facia, etc.

Yes I beleive this to be correct in Canada and if you ordered the cloth roof its an even nicer cover. By the way don't expect your order anytime soon, as mine was placed Aug.15th and I was told yesterday don't expect it to come by Xmas.

Boot Cover for Cloth Top

I haven't opened mine yet. What's the difference between the boot cover for the vinyl vs. cloth top?

BCTech - who are you referring to? I already have my GT/CS, got it Aug 11. There is (or was last week) a white GT/CS vert, manual, loaded at the same dealers and available. It's white. Lot's of western Cdn guys waiting but no one seems to want that one?? Maybe all the orders are under FFP from last July/Aug and no dealer wants to swap a car under those prices??
