New rear look for my GT/CS

I just added chrome tail light bezels and made the faux gas cap say GT/CS.

I don't recall the V6 spoiler having a notch for the 3rd light but gas cap looks good.

The V6 spoiler has the notch. The GT500 spoiler is the one that doesn't have the notch. Weird thing is the V6 spoiler came with the car when I bought her new. Dealer must've swapped out the stock GT spoiler at some point.

I know you don't like chrome and it should be banned according to you in one of your other posts.
It's all a matter of preference. If everyone had the same opinion or preference then the world would be a dull place. I think white, and sometimes black, is one of those colors that can pull off the chrome look.

The bezels were purchased on Ebay and the "GT/CS" on the faux gas cap is a custom overlay I had made at http://www.webxtremes.com/.

if you wanted a little less bling on the tail light chrome - try these from American Muscle.

Those look really good. I like 'em.

The reason I chose mine is because they look most like the early mustang taillight bezels.

Example here.

Your mods look great. Isn't the California Special all about bling anyway?

So what you're saying is "No, the California Special is not all about bling."

No it is not. My GT/CS has the stripe removed from the side, no chrome, and the hood/side scoops can be added to any other GT if so desired. The front and rear bumpers are the same as the Shelby, which isn't about bling either. Adding a little chrome isn't bling in my opinion, although I prefer my chrome on my Harley. Adding 5" chrome exhaust tips, a giant wing on the rear trunk, six hundred stickers from every aftermarket vendor, neon nozzle lights, neon valve stem lights, and white leather dash, steering wheel, seats, and interior, now that's bling.....
