How did you come up with the color names?

I would have picked names like yellowish green, more greeny yellow, etc..

Oh and my all time favorite html font color... < font color = " crap " > try it, it really does work as seen here!

 

How do you access the my color? The reason I am asking is because a buddy of mine just bought a Shelby GT and doesn't want to open the owners manual to figure it out. The dealer is out of town and hasn't returned his call.
