Hello,

As the title says I'm ordering a new CS Monday. I have the X-plan and have confirmed with the dealer I want to use that they will honor it. However, this was a couple of months ago and I've since heard that they may not necessarily honor the X-plan for the '08?

Can anyone confirm this? Also, what other changes will there be for the '08 CS besides the interior mood lighting, the HID lights, and colors? Will there be a special badge for the 40th anniversary GT/CS?

I think that's it, if you have any other words of advice or something I should know, it is always appreciated.

Hopefully Saturday the order guides will hit the dealers, most questions will be answered there. Congrads on the order of a new GT/CS, hope you love yours as much as I did mine. I too hope to be ordering an 08 on Monday.

I ordered mine in Feb and it should be here this next week. I talked to the dealer and the store manager said they would not have any issues honoring the x-plan (i too am using the x-plan). I know it is up to the dealer if they honor it or not so your dealer may elect to not honor it. I hope it works out. Best of luck.

Holly, I ordered my 2008 Mustang GT/CS today (5/18/07) utilizing the X plan. I'm in the Seattle area and had no problems with the dealership when I mentioned that I would be using the X plan. Good luck... Marty

Thanks, Marty! The thread is a little outdated now, I actually ended up going with the 2007. The rebates the dealer was offering just didn't stack up to new lights or mood lighting or whatever the 2008's have. I'd rather save $$$ for some mods.

I ordered my 2007 at the end of April, hopefully it gets here soon! I did use the X plan and had no issues. We'll both have to post pics when our stangs arrive.
