lowered GT/CS?

Has anybody lowered there CS?, how low is the front and have you had any problems scraping? I am thinking of doing just the back and leaving the front stock. I have had some instances of scraping the front so I am kinda worred.

I'm lowered with the Ford Racing Suspension Pack. I have to back into my driveway... I haven't had any issues with speed bumps so far, and I have to be very careful pulling into parking spaces...

Doug,

Keep in mind that the Shelby GT has the same front/rear facia and also runs the FRPP suspension pack. If you're aware of your surroundings (like Kmitch is) then you won't have a problem. If you go low, you may want go with a mild drop; maybe Steeda Ultralites.

My car isn't a CS, but I have to always be aware of where I drive and park. It's over a year, and I've yet to hit anything; thank god !

I have had to watch big shopping mall speed bumps -- center of car -- not front or rear.

I have Tein H Tech springs on mine and haven't had a problem with scrubbing. Of course I still go slow over speed bumps and driveways though. The drop is 0.9" front and 1.7" rear.

Here's a pic...

Advertised at 1.5", which is pretty much on.

Supposed to be 1.5" front and back. I know Al, EastCoast GTCS, is running the springs. I've got the FRPP K springs ready for install as soon as I can. I think the fact that we cannot add chin spoilers like the GT's do make ours look a little high without lowering springs. I've currently got .8"front/1.2"rear drop, but have decided to go more drastic.

I lowered mine with the Eibach Pro Kit and the Tokico D-spec struts of course you have to be careful with speed bumps as you would with any lowered car but it looks great imho.

I have the Eibachs also. The only time I ever worry is pulling up to a curb or concrete barrier. Just driving around I have yet to scrap anything. Do it, you'll love it!

Sick...

I'm planning on dropping mine as well with Tokico D-Specs and Eibach's Pro, but I want to wait until I have a couple other things lined up before I drop it (subframe connectors, all new sway bars - saleen front and eibach rear - and possibly saleen watts link to have the rear centered after I drop it).

I also used an Edelbrock adjustable pan hard bar to re-center the rear, and 1 Eibach camber bolt to get the alignment back within spec.

I also have the FRPP suspension package, and I scrape the front end on occaision, but mainly because I'm a madman and have a little too much speed taking the bump...
