Wow Ray! I think you'll be the first one here in TMS with a Glassback.

Good luck with it and post pics!

I sold my 1967 Fastback which I had owned for 30 years to invest in this new car. It's just about fully loaded with some mods to come in the near future. I may put a Shelby front end on her, we'll see.

I'm going to try to post some images shortly (just as soon as I figure out how?!). Wish me luck... lol

Thanks for looking!
If there is anyone that can make Black Beautiful It's You with your Mustang Absolutly spotless. Do you ever drive it ?

Hehe... Yes Ed, a little any ways. Just hit 1100 miles. I don't even have a garage for it yet. Hopefully this Summer we will buy a new home with ample storage for the Stang and all her accessories (ooops, and my wife and I).

Thanks for the compliments!

I took it in for the GlassBack install today. They say it will take about 3 to 4 days. My nipples are h*** (sorry, too much information)

I took it to my local dealer because they included a three year warranty. They in turn take it to Webasto who is an authorized dealer/installer for CDC. I could have taken it to Webasto myself, but the dealer gave me the same price ($2700) and it was closer to my home. Webasto has been doing sun & moon roofs forever. They have also done some GlassBacks before. They were doing sun roofs on the first VW Beetles so I'm pretty confident they will do an excellent job.

I can't wait to see it either!

Thumbs up GlassBack is here...

I picked up my Stang today after the GlassBack roof was installed.

What a cool mod. I'll have to see how hot it gets in the summer time. They told me not to do any major washing for about two weeks then I can remove any adheasive residue that remains. So, the attached photos aren't as clean as I would like. There will be more to come in the near future. It's really difficult to see any changes in the photos, that is how subtle the roof is. The biggest difference is the mouldings that run from hood to trunk (and the new fourth LED brake light of course).

The next step is Shelby parts and paint and stripes. The painter said he could take me next week. I still have to decide what color tho.

This is like getting a new car everytime I visit the dealer!

Looks amazing. So how does it feel to look up and see the sky? Has the sun been a problem? Now that you have a fourth brake light I say go with the CDC Ducktail.
