Good idea on the keyless entry pad.

One is in the mail to me as we speak, and I was planning on putting it right where you did, but on the vertical part of the cowl, not the horizontal.

but, I like your idea as well. I might have to see how that looks. From the height of the pad, I would have thought that the windshield wiper would hit it there. (I know, who uses windshield wipers...we just keep enough wax on the windshield and paint that the rain just rolls off)

I will post pics once I install it.

My '07 Stang is black as well. I tried using "Mr. Clean" and "The Revolutionizer" to keep the car from water spotting. Didn't work... My water is so hard, I have to use a chissel to get the spots off!

Then I went to a car show, where someone gave me a sample bottle of Adams Detailer spray. My car had a few hundred miles of road dust from a very windy night. We prepped the car less than an hour, including windows, wheels, and tires. Now I wipe the car down almost everynight with this stuff! I've noticed that even if the car is really dirty, I can wipe it down with NO resulting scratches whatsoever!! I like Adams Detailing spray much better than Meguiars, which didn't lift the dirt/dust off like Adams.

Hope this helps.

That seems to be way hard to reach. I have never hit the wipers and am over all happy with it's location.
