Noobie saying hullo...
Lurker for many years all over the Stang boards. This is the best by far. Been plotting to get a S197 since the show car. Finally put my bank account on a crash diet and have a VB GT/CS. Absolutely loving it. My wife is a Stang devotee and currently has an 04 redfire GT ragtop. Through the years, this makes 5 between the two of us. Suppose we could be forgiven fior the 74 and 78 in our history...just had to have a Mustang...
All of the community and information shared here made this purchase an almost painless experience. Trying to fight off the mod bug but I get the feeling that's a lost battle already....

Thanks for the welcome...
Just the sort of response that makes this place "the" place to hang when ya gotta or need to....
Yeah, I get to drop her top now and then. Kinda jealous 'cause her exhaust is louder than mine...at least until my pony stretches her legs and gallops. That'll probably be the seond "gotta do" after a CAI...
Picked it up on a Sunday late afternoon so she got to take the car to work and the sales guy picked it up from there. That night, gothome and it was "whoa, kinda scared myself but I didn't mean to". Imagine if she had dropped the hammer all the way down besides just about halfway.
Thanks to everybody for the welcome and the compliments. Why didn't I do this sooner...
