Best tire rotation?

Michelin/BF Goodrich is fairly generous with thier "weather/ozone checking (aka dryrot)" policy. Last time I checked, if the condition appears on both sides of the tire in the 6 year warranty period they will cover it, if it occurs only on the outside and is due to something like Armor-All being applied the warranty is shot.
Armor-All is something they will specifically mention, as well as WD40 (if anybody wants to see something cool, put some rubber in a container filled with WD40 and let it sit about a month). WD40 generally isn't used to shine a sidewall, but some places use it as a mounting lubricant.
All in all, to be absolutely sure about a product, just look and see if its endorsed by the RMA (Rubber Manufacturers Association).

tire rotation
the way i learned to rotate tires long ago was cross the non drive train tires and drive tires straight, unless directional wheels or tires. on my 2011 gt with 19in pirelli bring the rear fwd and cross the front as it shows in the owners manual.
