Anyone have this problem?

Just picked up my matched pair of redfire Cali's. (1 Coupe & 1 Convert.)
These are his & hers christmas gifts. Really excited about my wifes reaction.
I was driving the convert for the first time yesterday and noticed a definite "water-rushing" sound whenever I turned. Sounded like it was coming from right under the dashpad. The coupe does not have this sound at all. The coupe has about 25 miles and the convert has about 50. I DO NOT want to take this to the dealer and have them start tearing things apart. Any ideas out there? Will this go away on its own? Anyone know what is causing it.

P.S. Left turn - water sound moves right. Right turn water sound moves left.

Can't help with your problem but I hope you solve the issue soon enough. I'm sure the look on your wife's face is going to be priceless. Get pictures.

Neat Christmas presents!! I had that rushing noise in my 00GT vert and my '05 coupe - coming from behind the center stack area....never could find it though and mine was there sometimes and sometimes not (and it was more going in a straight line). At first I thought it was the shift boot (which did make noise rubbing when in 3rd gear) or the parking brake handle which did make it's noise both from the plunger rod vibrating and the handle assmbly vibrating on it's metal stop) but the "rushing" noise was one that I just learned to live with. I suspect either it's engine noise coming through the firewall or part of the climate control system (heater core, etc).

On my '07 GT/CS vert I don't have that noise and to be honest, it seems quieter and better insulated than my '05 GT coupe did.

Must be bad to have a problem like that.

I have a coupe and haven't heard any noise. One question. Is this noise with top up or down? Sound travels in funny ways. Anyway CONGRATS on the twins and welcome to the family.

My wife's Cabrio has a similar problem. I ended up removing the frame plugs and water came out. I still can't find where it's leaking from, but my guess is somewhere from between the top and the frame....hope this helps

Possible condensation build up in the A/C duct work, have or blow the A/C drain out located at the R/S firewall.

If it is stopped up the accumulated condensation "water" will not drain under the car during A/c operation.
Instead it fills up the duct work and sloshes back and forth during turns.
May even drip from duct connection seams and land on someones foot.
