I have been waiting for some time to find a new gen Mustang that I like, and finally the GT/CS appeals to me the most. (Even more than the Bullitt, Boss, or Shelby's). I really like the fanblade 18" rims, although I know the GT/CS is only is avalable with the bullitts. Has anyone considered or actually changed their CS over to the fanblades? I really liked them on the yellow prototype that was photographed outside Dearborn last year, and early dealer sales info sheets showed a CS with these wheels. Thanks!

 

I don't know if they can be changed with the TPM tire pressure monitoring system ? I'm not sure even how it works , untill I see it to understand.

 

You can move the TPMS band from the old wheel to the new one as both are TPMS compatible wheels.

 

Swapping 18" Fanblades with 18" Bullitts will work as long as both cars involved have the 18" from the factory.
The TPM system would need to be reprogrammed on each car.

If you made it a condition of the sale, most dealers wouldn't have a problem with that since the Bullitts are tougher to get allocation for, and have generally been more popular.

 

Mine isn't a CS, but it's an '07 GT with Fanblades and the GT/CS front and rear bumpers. CDC Spoiler going on next month, as well as the SilverHorse Racing quarter window replacements.
