New Member!

Hello everyone, Im brand new to this forum. I have ordered my 2007 GT/CS Vista Blue Vert. Options include: IUP Charcoal,5 speed man, cloth roof, active anti-theft,comfort group,3.55,GT app. package, seat side airbags and soft boot. Order date was dec.28th so its been an agonizing two weeks. I was told it will take eight weeks but judging by some posts i dont feel so confident. I really have some questions about mods and how to go about keeping warranty intact. If anyone could help with info i sure would appreciate it. Will post back when new info hits. THX.

Congratulations on your order...Just so you know, I waited 17 weeks for my Mustang...I was told 6 to 8 weeks...That was a very long 17 weeks but, well worth it...You do forget about the wait after your Mustang arrives...

Good luck with the sleepless nights...Most of us have been there...I am also waiting on my x-cal tune and JTL CAI...Seems like I am waiting all over again, so I am with you right now in the waiting game...

Hi jason (12 oz J ) & welcome what worked best for me was to try to forget about it , yah right not in my life , just over a year ago I did it for my 05 GT it took 4 months or 16 weeks , I am now waiting my 07 GT/CS was thought due Jan 25 - Jan 30 ish give or take a month or two so now I will just wait for a phone call to come & get her.
You will have lots of fun & questions that many will supply answers for, If I were you search for ( Taco Bill ) this guy is GREAT he shows a step by step procedure for doing most modifications that can be done by self.

From one newbie to another....Welcome. I ordered my Vista blue GT on 12/12 and the waiting truly is agonizing. The snow on the ground here helps right now though cause I know I couldn't drive it much. The forums are my pacifier right now. I'm learning a ton from them. I'm also enjoying looking at all the mods I can do when it gets here. I'm driving my wife and co-workers nuts too. Good luck and congratulations!

Welcome

Welcome to the family. If you have to wait, at least its winter, sort of. You'll love the Vista blue. My first mod was louvers, and I can't believe how much of a difference they make. I've been approached several times by people who love the look of the car, and we always end up talking about louvers. May your wait be short.

Sounds like you and I ordered the same car . My order went in on 1/8. I'm not in a big rush since I'm currently in the process of looking for a home with a garage. Hope I don't get your car before you do.

No worries quarter. How long did your dealer say it would take for yours to come in?

He said around 8 weeks. He also told me that, in the past, there were sometimes holdups due to the demand for the 18" polished aluminum wheels.

Hey Quarter! Any news on your mustang yet? I think your right about the 18" polished wheels. I was told yesterday by my dealer that ford is only letting 10% of orders go at a time that have these wheels to cut down on the demand for the 18" polished rims. I was told that is why i still dont have a build date. I cant believe ford would let a set of wheels stand in the way of building a car
