Yes, GO is seen as a "specialty" color to most, and you either love it (like me , or hate it). The saleman I bought the car from even confessed he didn't like the color, but I didn't care. I'm in this car for the long haul, and if the production numbers stay down on this car, it will be worth more in the long run..... trust me. Like it's been said already, the most memorable Boss/Mach 1 Mustangs from 69-70 are the orange ones.

Remember the Competition Orange Mustangs of 04? They weren't very popular then either, and not just because everybody knew the 05's were coming. The same dealer I bought my 07 GT from had several late model year 04 Cobras on their lot that summer. The 04 Competition Orange Cobra coupe was the last one there long after the new 05s hit the lot. They finally sold it. I can't remember the specific numbers, but there weren't too many of those made. I should have bought that car. They are now the rarest 03-04 Cobra color out there, and are already very collectable. Why? Not only because they are rare, but because when you see one, you notice it. You just don't see one every day, not like a black, silver, or white one. It GRABS your attention. Hence.... Grabber Orange!

I also love that the Grabber Orange color can look so different depending on the light conditions.... That just adds to it appeal to me!

Let me help a bruddah out here. Grabber Orange is the only citrus color that was strong enough to put an end to the other two citrus colors (lemon and lime) in the same year...

POWERFULL STUFF RIGHT THERE, LEMME TELL YA!

Grabber Orange is a tight tight color! I have a Performance White GT and like it. But I wish it was a little more flashy.

I love my LL but I have to admit it would have had a harder decision on color if GO and LL were both offered when I ordered my '06 in October of 05.

Though my '06 LL GT matches nicely with my dad's old '67 Galaxie XL...

The Galaxie is actually mine now due to the sad experience of inheritence. So it gets to share a home with the 06 as its younger, leaner stable mate.

Sorry folks, I'll let you get back on topic now... Rock on GO's!

TinyPony2 - I know I am late in the game to post my opinion on your order, but I was in the same boat. Last summer when I decided to order my first Pony this winter, I was debating between Redfire or Black.

Then I saw a GT500 in GO with M-plates at lunch (I work for Ford and live in Dearborn so I see a lot around town) and I was just geeked. When I found out that it was going to be a color option I just knew it was me.

Although I did waver a bit, I do not regret the decision. As a few have mentioned prior to me you just feel it. Plus I hear that GO is a 1 year color, which I think is great for resale and not "blending" in.

If you want to stand out from the crowd and make a statement, which can be hard in Detroit as almost everyone drives a Mustang it seems like, go GO.

Oh and hello to all in BOGO-ville, how do I get my membership card?

Seriously though, since I am new to the group, are there BOGO-ville rallies or gatherings? If not there should be!
