Hi Chad,
I am doing all of the work myself. I am between garages right now so one of my friends is letting me use his. The only work I will not do myself is warrrenty work. I also prefer the let the dealer use his computerized alignment machine for the alignment so I will take it to him in a few days to have it done.
If I get the stripes installed next weekend I will post new pictures.

I talked to the custom shop here about the Eibach kit and they suggested also getting a camber kit with it....do you know anything about this? On a scale of 1-10 how hard was the lowering kit to install? How long did it take? Obviously you have a spring compressor, as you still have a head...lol.
Hi Chad,
I do know what camber plates are, I just dont know if I need them yet. I'm waiting to hear from the alignment guy to see if he will need them or not.
Me and a buddy did all of the springs in about 3 hours. That included taking our time and having a quick burger. I used the directions from TacoBill as a guide.

My car was even easier than his due to some design improvements that Ford appears to have used in the 2007 model.
I'm not sure how I would score it on a scale from 1 to 10. For me it seemed easy. Simple matter of removing bolts, swapping out the parts and then re-install and torque the bolts. Nothing required any special settings or skills. Maybe I would give it a 4. The only special tools needeed was the spring compressor which I bought at Advanced Auto for $54.00 bucks and a Torque wrench. The rest are standard hand tools (all metric).

Alignment Completed
My alignment was completed today. Did not need camber plates but they did have to put in a camber bolt kit to replace one of the lower strut/spindle bolts. The new bolt is cammed to push the spindle in the correct position to allow proper camber. Here is the Ford part number;

The results are excellent! When the car came off the car carrier it had a lot of understeer. Now it takes corners very well. Very precise and controlled. The new Eibach springs also improve the handling and reduce body roll.
All in all, I am very happy. Now all I need is more power!

BamaChips Hooked Me Up!
The C&L Racer CAI and X2 programmer arrived from BamaChips today. Only took about 20 minutes to install. I'm running Doug's 93 octane Race program.
As soon as I started it up I noticed a much throatier exhaust note. It sounds much better than with the stock airbox and tune. The roads are
wet today so I could not run it too hard but I did notice some extra power and better throttle response.
As soon as the roads are dry I will take it out for a proper thrashing!
