SVT "IUP"
#1
Has there been any more word, or pictures regarding the GT500's "IUP?"
Quote from the Ford Media Site: "A GT500 Performance Interior Trim Package is optional. It features a leather-wrapped and stitched instrument panel brow and center console, upgraded door armrests and aluminum pedal covers."
What exactly are "upgraded door armrests?" And by the brow, do they mean where the regular IUP aluminum would go, or the upper portion of the dash (the twin-cowl portion)?
P.S. I apologize if this has already been brought up, but I haven't seen it.

I haven't seen the "upgraded door armrests" either, so I have no idea what they're planning with that. But, yeah, the instrument panel brow refers to the entire upper dash area from the edge of the brow right back to the HVAC vents at the bottom of the windshield.

The NAIAS car has it, but, I haven't seen any good pics of it. The arm rest on the door, console and dash are covered in a softer material with big stitching, I think it is leather, but, not sure of that. In the Red/Black interior, the stitching is red. In the black, it looked black from where I could see.

I believe they've officially announced that the upgraded dash and center armrest are leather, haven't they?

I could swear these optional upgrades were mentioned to be standard equipment when the GT500 concept was introduced. I understood it was partly to justify the price.
