THANKS for the photos. Is it just me, or is there too much open gap around the rear tire? It looks like the back needs to be lowered some.

What the bloody heck? The car they're showing us in Detroit has proper ride height. This thing probably has the actual ride height we'll see. More bait and switch. Can't Ford do anything right?
The GT500 In the picture is one of press cars Ford used.

Close up picture of GT500.

If that picture you have above is the actual ride height of the production car, it doesn't match Detroit.

So which one is the final look?

I think it's a GT in GT500 clothes. Here's a good read - http://summersville.10.forumer.com/viewtop...3107&highlight=

That would make the title of this thread pretty laughable then.

Wow... I hope thats not the one that comes to the Cleveland show. I didn't get a chance to see the engine (in car) at Detroit. It was bad enough last year when they wouldn't let me sit in the vert.

Notice where the camera location is on these shots, very low which will make the car sit up.

No way man - that is just like the GT stock ride height - after lowering my own car, when I look at a non lowered one, I CANNOT miss the difference with that rear gap - I think this is that disguised GT they mentioned in that other thread......

Yes it is. It was a GT500 cosmeticly, but mechanicly it was not. Suspension, exhaust (no x-pipe, etc.), engine, all GT.
