Striping Width Discrepancies?

Is it true that the over-the-top striping varies in width? Can anyone with this measure in a few critical areas to confirm?

Front Bumper
Hood
Top
Decklid
Rear Bumper

It just seems all too weird to me but it might be true???

Yes, its true. Due to different shapes of different body panels, the stripes vary in width at different points to provide the optical illusion that they are the same width. If they were perfectly the same width over the whole car it would not look right. The original Shelbys used this effect also.
