News and Packs from SVTPerformance Thread

Surprised this was not mentione here yet...Hot Rod Mag...

Power Pack =
- increase blower boost
- exhaust and air intake enhancments. A G

Drag Pack =
the Power Pack plus
- headers, perhaps a new rear gear, and a shifter.

Handling Pack =
- lower the car an inch
- adjustable shocks & strutes.

Super Pack =
- blower upgrade to a 3.3L Whipple twin-screw

The post at SVTperf seems to point to seperate power packages for the GT500, I believe that is what's being discussed

yes, these are GT500 packages...hence why it was in the GT500 section.

Aren't you paying to have those "packs" content already? Hasn't that always been the point of the SVT version? The supercharger upgrade I can see, but why isn't the rest of that stuff standard (or are those meant to be "race ready" modifications?).
