These comparos are getting a bit frustrating! I used to look towards these magazines when purchasing a new car. I know I have not seen a Challenger in person yet but it seems to be just like the Charger's interior, which is pretty much the same. I don't see how the Challenger's interior is all that superior to the GT500's! Same for the ride quality, I feel the GT500 gives a better ride than the base V8 GT. ******* the GT500 for the supercharger whine is crazy! I own an 03' Cobra and the whine is one of my favorite parts about getting on it!

I remember a couple years back Road and Track put a new for 04' GTO up against an 04' Cobra with similar results. Even though the Cobra spanked the GTO in every performance category it lost the overall comparison because of interior quality! How nuts is that!

Today's GT500 is yesterday's Boss 429, only better.

They bash the sound of the GT500's supercharger yet they compliment the sound of Porsche, EVO and STI turbos spooling............

 

$40k for a 13.1 in the quarter and a 0-60 above 5 seconds???

i'd rather have my GT with comparable performance, and better looks for $28k.

take that $12k and slap a whipple on a GT, upgrade the suspension, get bigger brakes, and you can smoke the challenger.

once again, the answer is, get a GT and mod it!

 

So since Motor Tread likes a comfortable interior over performance...it would be safe to assume that a Motor Home would win out over either vehicle.
