Good question? I hadn't really researched it but I think Tork Tech was planning something, you might want to check with them.?

I know there is a kit for S197 4.6 but I don't know if it will work with yours.

at one time Tork Tech was looking into it as the M122 rotor pack is .650" longer if I read correctly and the inlet is much better than the M112, unfortunately the inlet faces the driver's side rather than the passenger side.

The thread I bumped into was about using the M122 on a 4v engine in a SN95/New Edge application. lots of fabrication, but nothing crazy as it mainly required just mounting the blower on an existing manifold using a custom adapter then figuring out how to make things work like the IAC being adapted to the former EGR pad, getting the throttle cables to work with the t-body and so on (not that hard as there are conventional versions of the CJ and SCJ throttle bodies that use a cable) and so on.

Thanks for the info guys, I can't really find anything for a roots type for a pushrod 5.0, everybody tells me to just do a centrifugal setup but I love the look and sound of roots

WIP, ended up dropping it off at Dyno Tuned Performance in Va Beach ( http://www.dtpracing.com/ ) to get headers put on and finish blower install.

Install was pretty straight forward sans pulley SNAFU, Whipple shipped the blower with a 3.250 pulley instead of a 3.000 pulley.

Lund Racing said no big deal with the base tune and since my GT500 is a DD I'm just going to go with that and get the 3.00 pulley and new tune later.

The worst part and what prompted me to drop it off at DTP to finish the install was the drivers rear manifold bolt, drivers rear fuel rail bolt and EGR tube. I was unable to finish those items with a the tools I had and what should have been a 6 or 8 hour job turned into a 24 hour job. Discouraging to say the least.

If all goes well I'll be doing the idle and cruise data logs then setup for the WOT pulls on the chassis dyno sometime later.

Got it home today with the base tune loaded with a 3.250 pulley.

Exhaust is 1-7/8 ARH Long Tubes on a ARH 3" OR X-pipe and Dynomax 3" cat-back and Race Bullets. Great for scaring old ladies, small children and animals!

Did the Idle, Neutral Rev, and Cruise datalogs a little bit after I got home and sent them off.

After first picking the car up it was a little rough, stumble off idle and some surging but I live about 50 miles from DTP and the car sorted itself out fairly well. Hopefully I'll have all the remote tuning done by Friday?? As I've got a cruise on Saturday but I'm confident even in that case there wont be any problems as the car probably had a total of 70 or so miles by the time I hit home and another 10 on top of that with the data logs.

Per Jon Lund's recommendation I'll be getting the BAP and 170 t-stat so I'll go for the 3.00 pulley then and finalize everything plus the dyno time at DTP. I'd already paid for it but had to use that to cover some extra items and getting them to fix a rookie mistake on an electrical connector.

Talked to Sean (guy who finished my install) and he said the EGR pipe and rear manifold bolt were the real PITA's.

15 or 16 pounds right now, Whipple shipped the blower with a 3.250 pulley instead of the 3.00 I wanted. Its fine for now as I get things dialed in and wait for a few more parts.

Speaking of which all idle, part throttle and cruise data logging went great, no changes needed, just waiting to do the WOT pulls when time, money , and scheduling allow.

Well took it in for a spin on the rollers this morning and I should be where I need to be after I get my 3.00 pulley which should give me about 2 pounds of boost and the 10-14% gain I'm looking for.

Still pulls timing like crazy though, 3rd pull only netted 620hp although compared to the last dyno visit it was a little warmer as the HEaton and stock H/E didn't drop as much in power. The car was also cooler.

That's the bad part about Whipples and Kenny Bell superchargers. They get hot and when the intake temp raises the computer pulls timing to save it's self. That's why the TVS2300 upgrade is the way to go(13' & 14' GT500 blowers do not get hot). The perfect location for a Whipple is on top of a big block boat motor sipping cold lake water(70 degree water) and or salt water.
