I had missed those, only saw the blue thing. I like it, but I agree the original trunks were one piece, not a 3 piece add on. Regardless, I still think I'm headed down that road. I think with the sonic blue, some louvers, a ducktail, the trunk spoiler, I'm digging it.

I had imagined a ducktail and spoiler, but seeing it now in real life is pretty sweet.

 

 

I would not be surprised if whoever came up with the bright idea of stacking a wing on top of a ducktail thinks it looks good.

That car is pretty bad.
Wonder how they get away with using the Shelby name without paying a royalty?
Fog lights look like they made a wrong turn through Pep Boys!
Sad thing is that an unsuspecting customer will buy it thinking he/she purchased a real Shelby.

 

While it may have the looks of a modern GT500KR, it probably does not have the guts of one, which is a shame. While the fog lights are tacky on the new body, they are in keeping with the look from 1968-9. I am guessing that is the California Dream Hood on this car. Anyone confirm? If anything good comes of this string, it will be that my wife finally makes up her mind on the lightbar for her pony.
