638 rwhp, wow, are you serious brad? It's kind of hard to believe, but i'm sure it's true because you said it.

For only having said it you it is necessary to believe it.

Fodder that this 475 hps. SAE NET in one 5.4L SC 8.8 psi. is really more of said by Ford, possibly be alone minimized by questions of the Assurance in US, and more for the problem of some years ago in Horsepowers matter ( being the only case and for a possible mathematical human mistake ).

If we see the relation of weight / power of the GT500 will give us approximate numbers of for what we can wait, for this I will have to change to Kilogram ( FIA norm ):

1778.112 kilos ( 3920 lbs.) / 475 hps. SAE NET = 3.74 kg / hp. ( Official )
1778.112 kilos ( 3920 lbs.) / 550 hps. SAE NET = 3.23 kg / hp. ( I believe being stock )

On having indicated that with a few basic modifications 638 will be had rwhp, we are speaking that will be near the 733 hps. SAE NET:

1778.112 kilos ( 3920 lbs. ) / 733 hps. SAE NET = 2.42 kg / hp.

( range already of the super cars exotics as of the Ford GT Stock ( GT40 ) with relation of weight / power of 2.87 kg / hp. )

Of being like that , the weight of the Shelby GT500 SVT goes on to the second term and that really this if he will be the real hunter of the Corvette Z06 ( 2.84 kg / hp.), at least in a Freeway US or in the Autobahn, and with a good enclosed runner ( Racer ) in curves.

Another thing : on having had a block of iron 5.4L , it wants to say to us that it is stronger and easy of stroker.

Thank you Ford , the rest leave it us.

Reminds me of the low HP ratings they gave muscle cars in the previous golden era. I love it!

I know online 1/4 mile calculators arent worth ANYTHING, but 638rwhp @ 3920lbs gave it a 10.66 1/4 mile. It would be amazing if it ran a 10.99 with those few mods.

Being a newbie, I have just have to ask...."How does these mods affect the warranty?" I know back in the day, any modification nullified the warranty. But it sounds like things have changed.....have they?

The usual answer to this question is, no, unless something is damaged that they can prove the modification caused. It also depends on your dealer. Hope this helps.

If Ford finds out you swapped a pulley and you have engine problems, they will not cover it. Obviously, blower swaps don't void radio, power window, etc. part of the warranty, but, anything diretly affected by the mod is subject to refusal.

OH...MY...GOD, Magnum!

That is just insane. If this is true, then it MUST be pushing at least 500 horses in stock setup.

But with those swaps...WOW!

Should be fun when Joe Ferrari pulls up next to you at the stoplight...
