Last week I ordered what I think is the closest looking GT500KR style hood. A company called Trufiber located in Ca is who makes this fiberglass hood. I did try to buy the carbon fiber hood from SAI but they said the hood is exclusive to the new Shelby GT500KR. If anyone is interested I included the link for the Venom Ram Air Hood. Not to be skeptical but, are you sure the hood will fit on the Honda?

 

Actually, the hood is bigger than the Honda

OKLACOP, thanks for the link. I received the hood last week in very good condition. The body shop has it now so it should be done in two weeks. We did install the hood to see what had to be trim or adjusted but the fit was awesome. Kudo's to Phil and the gang at Trufiber. I'll post some pics when it's done

Just a side note, I was stationed at Ft Sill back in the 80's. Are you anywhere near Lawton? Had some good times there back in the day

 

I'm actually in Mustang, Ok.......just s.w. of Oklahoma City. Lawton can be a pretty crazy town. Can't wait to see your pics!
