Wow, thanks for the pic. Not sure what is up with the C&D pics, but I am glad to see it wasn't just the Shelby. That being said, all of the GT500 pics I have seen haven't had the best of stances. But, perhaps it is just the pics I have seen.

Don't fool yourself, a full bolt-on GT couldn't even keep up with a terminator let alone a shelby from a roll, at the track, yeah it could probably out-perform both, but thats just because of traction woes, hell any mod'd car can outperform a stock car of a better league

I think for people who like to change their rides alot, the Shelby makes more sense since they have had a great resale history. If you plan to keep your ride for a good number of years spending an equal amount of money as a Shelby costs is easier to justify I would think.
