You know what--you're right, I'm wrong. Do you feel better now?

Sorry for trying to help out.

When I asked to share your view point, I thought you owned a GT500. Sorry 06GT, didn't mean to start a pissing contest.

Me either, haha!

At any rate, from the input in this thread, it doesn't sound like people here will be pushing the car to the point where it would need the addtional grip anyways.

My original question was primarily if there was a pak similar to the FR3 for the GT500. I own a GT and have the FR3 installed as does 06Gt. Our cars are quite similar it seems actually. I installed mine not so much for performance, although the cornering, tracking and handling improvements are astronomical over stock, but for looks. The wheel gaps on mustangs are inexcusable. While maybe not redneck 4x4 quality gaps some would use to dfine 4x4, there is no disputing that they large. i would not own a GT if I did not lower it b/c I think most of them they look ridiculous with the back end stuck up in the air.

The problem seems to be for some reason magnified on GT500, as I perceive the gaps to be even larger.

Anyway, now that GT500 prices seem to be coming out of the "way too much for a mustang" ADM world and closer to MSRP I was considering trading up, but want to know if I can fix the "*** up" stance with a full pack like I did with my GT.

you're a bit sensitive mr black I don't think anyone was attacking the GT500...

... just the way it looks

*** up is what gives it the "Muscle Car" stance. I think it is perfect as is. As several say above, the slammed look makes it look akward. Like the suspension is over-loaded. I have not had one of the thousands of people drooling over mine say the *** was too high or that it looked 4x4.

I agree. The GT500 also looks to be lower than a GT anyway.

If I owned one I'd leave it as is.

I like mine the way it is, stock, but a case can be made for the Roush models which are lower and look good.
