Hey guys, just had an amazing day with my Shelby at VMP Tuning, Inc in DeBary, Florida. The owner, Justin Starkey invited me over to dyno and tune my Shelby. Pure stock, the car did 3 runs on the Dyno. They were 421.05, 424.62, 419.16 HP and 438.78, 427.60, 422.96 Torque. Justin then used a SCT tuner on my car, and the dyno read an amazing 482.39 HP and 477.83 Torque. He then tried a custom cold air kit, and the dyno read 505.98 HP and 487.21 Torque!! I was shocked to say the least! We took the cold air kit off and left it with the 482HP for now. He even did some tuning that helped eliminate the clutch chatter. The drivability is as smooth as original...but the power is unbelievable! When you shift into 2nd, it used to just chirp the tires, now it actually barks them loudly!! It was...they did about 10 runs. They run through the gears normally till 4th, then go till it gets to redline. I now know that redline in 4th gear is 145mph. Other than the noise at top end, it was pretty drama free. But man, the car is so much more fun to drive now. The C6's better watch out!!
