First Year Registration in YOUR State
Arizona has to be one of the highest of all states. Please state the following:
1) 2007 or 2008 model year,
2) State of residence,
3) How registration costs are determined, &
4) Cost!
I'll start:
1) 2008
2) Arizona
3) Cost is determined by a factor of the base vehicle price.
4) $718.17
Anyone higher?

My tags were like 460 for my GT based on a 26K sticker.
Insurance was bad, for AZ I mean. No accidents, 15 years with same company and the first quote was 729 for 6 mo. I'm not anywhere near being a kid either. I got it down to 616 for 6 mo. but that's with homeowners and other discounts and having another car to drive.

edit. My insurance is about $830/year. 41 yr old with clean record.
guess I'm glad I live in Indiana compared to the cost of some of the other states.
