Car cover - what kind is it

What kind is the GT500 factory car cover? Weathershield? Noah? Dustguard? etc...

I'm pretty sure it is weathershield. Not positive, though.

It is very thin, light weight, compact.

If you store it inside and want it for ding protection, I'd get something else. IF you just want it to keep the car clean when storing, it will do fine.

Wish I could figure out where the bag goes when the cover is on the car.....

And I thought car covers were for anonymity.... yeah right, not with this one....

It is designed to go in the trunk to help hold it on the car. I don't like the idea of the straps being shut in the trunk. I just let it hang down. It covers the license plate when I do that.

I wish they hadn't attached the bag to the cover.

Cool Too Easy!

Just place the storage bag into the trunk and close it, before pulling the car cover down over the rearend! Is that too easy, or is it me. I can feel it! Here comes the flames!

I never said it wasn't easy. I just don't like the way the straps rub on the edges of the trunk when you shut it in there.

How will the straps rub unless you are driving or it is in the winds ? one could put a soft cover over straps like the sheep skin units they make for seat belts ?

Each time you open or close the trunk, the straps will rub as the lid slides over the straps. If you need to use the bag in the first place (to keep it on the car) it will likely be because it is out in the wind. Mine is not, therefore, I leave it out of the trunk.
