Back to the original topic: I think a window to the 5.0, especially one with a blower would be great. I wouldn't have it on my car, but I wouldn't knock it.

As for the Corvette ZR-1 - I am a huge fan so I hate to admit it, but you are right - why a plastic window just to look at another plastic cover?

yeah the whole hood and a cutting tools scares the crap out of me. I get all moody when I get a rock chip much less a diamond blade and a couple thousand rpm.

Hey, we've seen Chip Foose cut into freshly painted hoods many times on Overhaulin' with limited time and ***** the size of Obama's ego. I am sure it would turn out well. If not, some aftermarket company will no doubt make one soon.
