What bothered me most about my Mustang(s) was the hard door panels. Older I get, the more little crap like that bothers me. I'm not a fan of the '15 exterior, but I haven't seen one yet in person so that could change. I think I've read that the door panels are still hard plastic... and that just disappoints me. I know folks aren't buying a Mustang for the upscale interior, but it's just a cheap-out IMO.

Personally, I do not find the speedo all that convenient. Yep, its huge- but where its placed is blocked by the wheel/my hand when I'm driving. It would be tons easier just to glance down and see a big number on the 4.2" screen that is currently just sitting there with a Pony running across it.
Speed and tach on the screen isn't a necessity, but the data is there- so I can't fathom why Ford didn't just program the ability into the system. Reading through threads, there's plenty of people who would at least like the option to have speed indicated on the screen (which the system can already do- in test mode).

Amusing.
As for the data for speed and revs being there in the cluster, if you access the test mode screen, you can toggle the screens until you get to the digital speedo or tach. So, yes it is there, but you can't get it without going into the test screen mode.
Annoying.
No memory seats, no telescoping wheel and the 13-14 GT bump cover/lower grille that makes the car look like it's smiling. I've come to hate it so much I'll be swapping out for a 10-12 front end. Other than that, really happy with the car.
This is just a little PITA when you clean the car and the rear spoiler hangs over the left and right of the trunk. It just sucks trying to clean it. You have to open the trunk to clean it properly!?!?
Yeah, I have to go back and open the trunk to clean those spots when detailing.
Would have been nice if there was a shelf for my cell phone and iPod. Cup holders in the way of the shifter. Super crappy stock shifter, worst shifter I've ever used. Narrow wheels with tires that look like they came off a 1965 Mustang. Ride height, sits way too high.
I spent $3000 to fix the ride height and wheel/tire issue. I like my '13 GT, but I've thought a few times that maybe I should have gotten an SS Camaro instead.

The Camaros are pretty nice IMO. The A-pillar visibility sucks, and the L99 engine in the automatics are pretty gutless, but the LS3 manual tranny cars are great. LS3 hooked up to a Tremec TR6060 is a good setup.
As a performance and drag strip guy, I had to take the Coyote powered Mustang GT with the 6R80 over the Camaro. I'll take a SRA over IRS any day.
All my racing is in a straight line, where the Mustang takes the Camaro.

+1 to cup holder location with a manual
+1 to the fricken lack of seat back memory
+1 to the small gas tank, should have been 18-20 gallons.
+1 lack of sterling wheel adjustments. Thankfully it works for me, but no bueno for the wife.
New stuff... But mostly just niggles
Small rear rotors. Not a performance issue, they just wear fast, had to replace at 30k. They also Look out of proportion with Brembo fronts.
Lack of headlight indicator on dash (only high beam indication). In overcast weather the light on the **** is hard to see ( only an issue in auto mode)
No raising the rear headrests, makes it a ***** with certain car seats getting the 3rd point latch buckle through and impossible for others
No auto dim rear view mirror... Should be mandatory on all cars IMHO. Something I laughed at until I owned a car with one.
The worst one for me though....
Base interior hula hoop. I refuse to call that offensive circle of rubber/plastic a steering wheel. Fixed by replacing with a boss unit which is a much worthier tiller for such a powerful beast. Sure it was functional... But Considering the steering wheel is one of the few things used/touched every time you drive I found the stock unit shockingly poor. The leather on the premium wheel was a bit better but still provided a poor grip for such a performance oriented car.
Don't get me wrong. In the final analysis none of the above is all that bad in the grand scheme of things. Mostly they bug me because of how easy they are to have avoided or fixed. Regardless, I LOVE my '12 Kona Blue Brembo Baby. 45k almost entirely trouble free miles in and the **** eating grin I got driving off the lot is still plastered on my face every time I fire her up. I still find it amazing I got this much car for ~30k.

FYI - The auto dim rear view mirror is an option that comes on the GT premium.
Laughing at the auto-dim rearview mirror is funny, because I used to do the same thing, being someone who never ever flipped the switch to manually dim a mirror because I can't stand the way you can see the roof of the interior of the car when you do that…I just dealt with the bright headlights.
But now that I've got an auto dim mirror, wow - don't know how I lived without one, now I want auto dimming side view mirrors.

Ditto!!! When you have the Brembos and look at the car from the side (especially with the wheels that come standard with the Track Pack/Brembo setup), the rear discs look like a joke! I'm sure they are more than adequate, given the fronts carry the majority of braking burden, but come on!
I have an SS Camaro that parks next to me sometimes (about the same color grey as mine), and the only aesthetic thing I can find on his car that looks better than mine is the "balance" between the front and rear discs (I guess Chevy has to have SOMETHING its better at than Ford
). Otherwise, the Camaro looks like more like a Matchbox car than a real ride.
