Your least favorite feature of your car (non-performance)?

So in contrast to the other thread, what is the thing you dislike the most about your car?

I'd have to say how hard it is to shut the trunk…you really need to follow through with downward force to shut it. I've noticed this on the few others I've shut, so I don't think it's just my car.

When tilting the seatback forward to put something in the back seat, it doesn't go back to where it was.

It's not. My trunk is the same way. One of the first things I noticed.

Oh the thing I hate most is my poorly prepped bubbling hood.

The trunk is hard to close, but I put on the MMD decklid panel, which has the unintended side effect of providing a grab handle for good leverage. No finger prints, no retries.

Same here. It does help and it looks great.

All of the bug catchers on the front of the car. The grills and the black plastic under the lights are a PITA to keep clean.

Good call, this is a contender with the trunk lid.

I've never in my life been in a coupe where the seat didn't go back to its position when pushed forward to toss something in back. What the hell was Ford thinking? My '98 GT didn't even have this poor design. I didn't even know my '14 was like this until after I brought the car home, because who would've thought to check?

All the cheap plastic bits added to the car. IE, a shiny plastic decklid that is scratched before I've had it a week. It's plastic, so no real fix but to replace it.

My only complaint is the inconsistent engine ticking that the dealer claims is normal, it's sort of non performance related.

Cheap fragile CS grille, skimpy floorboard carpet, and squeaky @ss brakes.

Yes the stupid seat not going back and the seatbelt arm. Also, the rearend not being remotely planted

Idk what you guys are talking about on the trunk being hard to close - maybe you guys need to work out

I used my spoiler to close it. My decklid is still perfect, somehow, but my taillights are scratched to high hell.

Compared to virtually any other car out there it takes a lot more effort. Many another car has a pull handle from the inside that you can just give a light downward pull on to shut the trunk…pretty sure the reason there is no pull down inside the Mustang trunk is because if there were, you'd never be able to generate enough force with it to shut the trunk. A small gripe for sure, but kind of sad in 2014. No reason you should literally have to "follow through" when shutting the trunk.

EDIT: This is another thing that wasn't an issue on my '98, shut effortlessly.

My 2011 does it too...
Hell my 2006 didn't even have this problem! It's spring loaded downward or something.

The "non-leather" leather seats (only part is leather), the "non-seat" backseat (just a slip cover and and all vinyl), and the only partial power seats (reclining is manual - and as others have said doesn't return when moving for backseat passenger). I've never experienced any of this with any other car. Leather seats should be leather. Power seats should cover all seat movements. I wish they would just charge me more and give me what I'm supposedly paying for.

The trunk is a pain in the **** but my biggest gripe is the lack of storage space in the cabin. Got room for 2 CD's and my sunglasses. Jhezz!!

The thing I hate most is the fact that fellow owners act like a bunch of little girls over the smallest little things.

Not sure if this counts....we bought a hot rod, not a Prius. With all due respect the mileage aspect is just the cost of doing business if you want to play...just my opinion.
