without tpms?
Can the message be disabled from appearing somehow? I heard that it could...I realize the light would still be on but the message is more annoying IMO.
I run my Focus without TPMS and there's no negative effect, short of having the light always on. That **** warning popup always comes on after 20 or so miles, though...

Don't buy them! My hubby changes out our "winter rims" on our DD's and we don't have the tpms for them. Yeah, it's annoying seeing the warning but save your money and buy a worth while mod. And all in due time the tpms sensor batteries that you have on your stock rims will die anyways and you will still have a warning. SO, if you can read a tire pressure gauge, are observant and look at your tires periodically, don't waste the money.
Just my two cents.

This ^^^^
None of my previous cars had it and I did just fine.
I’ve been without TPMS for almost a year now. Other than the warning light on the dash there is no issue. Reset the warning message each time you start the car. First message will warn you the system senses a low tire. Reset and forget. About 20 minutes later another warning will sound and the message will read tire pressure monitor fault. Reset and forget…no further warnings will be sent provided the ignition is not shut off. Sort of annoying but there are worse things! I’ve been told putting a set of monitors in a pressurized can in the trunk should take care of the issue if you want to go that route. Beyond that there is no way to defeat the system.

It will depend on where you live? There are 4 states (Hawaii, Rhode Island, Vermont & West Virginia) that require the TPMS system on your vehicle to be working, in order to pass state inspection. A recent change to the law here in Pennsylvania, requires any vehicle that has a functioning TPMS system, when it goes into a garage/service center for work, must be functioning properly when it leaves. It was explained to me this way. If you have your summer tires & rims with TPMS sensors which are functioning & you want to put your snow tires & rims on which do not have TPMS sensors or have TPMS sensors which are not working, a licensed garage can't do that work for you, under threat of fine. It's a pain in the rear & another government over reach as far as I'm concerned, but we are living in a nanny state.
I know that link had free shipping, don't know if you have a address on this side of the border or what the extra cost would be to ship them to TJ, but for under $50 bucks to not have to get the annoying warnings every time you drive the car to me would be well worth it.
