Window Sticker info

The Blend number is the number used to define the order the cars are built. The regular production #'s go from 0001-8xxx, and then start over again. Pre-production cars have Blend #'s in the 9000's.

So for my blend #( 2116) I would have to wait 3-4 days past 5/50 for it to be built? Then what happens to the cars scheduled for those days??? Something's wrong there!....

At least initially the Blend Number is the number the cars are scheduled to go down the line. 0001-8999 then the blend sequence starts over.
So if your 2116 is scheduled for 5/20 then 550 most likely would have been scheduled on 5/17 or 5/18.
That said Ive seen what you have seen. Initial scheduled dates are for week of starting with Monday so their should only be roughly a 2400 difference considering the 4 day production schedule. However the date on the window sticker is supposed to be the day your car actually is scheduled to begin its trip down the assembly line. I assume if say 100 cars had to be rescheduled because of a shortage parts then the other cars would keep their previous blend numbers so we could have blend numbers 700 apart run the same day although only 600 cars were made.
1. How do we end up with Blend 5436 and 7290 with Window Stickers showing the same date?
2. Are their different lines with different Blend Numbers?
3. If a car has to be rescheduled does it keep the Blend Number already assigned to it?

I still don't know what the codes on the top of the sticker mean . . . (e.g., "TRD" "BUMP" "FSCP" etc.)

Here's an updated VIN decoder from mustangattitude.com:

one of the codes in the upper left corner.. FLR-000353 VA..
the VA stands for the state that its being shipped to.. your case Virginia
Mine Says FLR-001417 CT.. Connecticut
which is almost identicle to the shipping car # 101417

FLR - the plant name, in this case Flat Rock
the number after FLR is a sequential invoice batch number
The Batch ID is actually the invoice date 1st digit/letter is the year (same as in the VIN), second is to indicate the month, last two digits are the day
The single letter after th batch ID is the invoice type: N-normal, R-rebill, etc.
I believe the two digit number before the invoice number is the regional code
I've heard the single digit after the invoice number is the order type: 1-retail, 2-stock, 9-export, A-A plan, D-D plan, X-X plan, Z-Z plan, etc. I have also seen 4, 5, 8, C, L, M (internal?), T (internal?), W (internal?), Y (internal?)
