They didn't seem bothered by getting a call from an end user? I'm just surprised that they would give out any information at all. That's very nice of them. I work for a manufacturing company and we do not discuss any information about any orders unless it's a person calling about their account (an authorized dealer employee).

Just a note to those not looking in the Brembo thread, there is currently a quality control hold on a number, if not most (or all) cars. An issue has been identified, and a solution is being implemented. This means that the ship date info may not be correct.

James,

They were quite happy to look it up.. When I told her that I was calling to inquire about the status of my new Mustang, she said, "Oh, let me just pull up that system... What's your VIN number?"
When it came up and she saw it was a Shelby, she was like... OOOH very nice!

I did this back in 2002 when I ordered my Mach 1.. Much they same willingness to give me info... Back then, it was the only way I knew anything (dealer s|_|cked). This time, Jeff has been right on with all information. I was just curious to call and see if they had anything special to add...

Good to know. Most big companies (like mine) wouldn't give the time of day. Thanks and kudos to Ford.

What's your company phone number? I want to call and ask what time it is.
