When are they usually available? Is it the week or weekend before build date?

that should give some idea how close they are to your VIN.

 

109894 is the sequence number they are up to. what is your sequence number?

 

That's weird. Mine is dated later then the sticker posted above but the VIN is lower...

 

Mine is scheduled for 4/19, 5110166.

I see I have a little more time to wait before I can get my window sticker.

Normally it would have been available last Monday. They appear to have stopped putting them up ahead of time. The latest build I've found is tomorrow, April 15th. Might have something to do with the hold, or they could have changed their policy of posting them ahead of production.

 

I haven't been able to pull up my window sticker either, and mine's 109947. According to the last information I received from the dealer, it was scheduled to be built next Monday (4/19). If they build them sequentially, that's only 53 cars away as of yesterday. At what rate are they building these things per day? Are they actually ahead of schedule?

 

Ford does not build sequentially. There is a 1104xx car that was built Tuesday, while there are a handful of 102xxx and 103xxx not yet built.

 

Nothing today. Hopefully they will be available over the weekend. Maybe they started doing it differently, who knows?

 

my sequence is 5110172 build date is the same as yours. no sticker up yet. if they dont build them in sequence who knows.

 

The dealer e-mailed me my invoice this morning so I went and got my window sticker too ... pretty cool !!

When ordered back on 2/18 I hoped it would arrive around May 1st and was told ETA is now 4/28 ... not bad at all.

well my ETA is now 5/14 instead of 5/02, maybe it was pushed to the week of the 26th for build.

 

I just checked for my sticker 15 minutes ago, and low and behold, it was there! Wasn't there when I checked last about 10 hours ago.

My VIN is pretty high, being 111958. Build week I was told earlier was 4/19 and the sticker production date shows 4/21. It's a Brembo car too so I'm not too sure about the "Brembo hold" theory. Could be something like inventory not communicating fast enough with whatever department issues the stickers though, who knows. We'll see.

Unlike for some of you though, my dealer hasn't given me any indication at all about the delivery date, perhaps wisely...

 

Dates are all estimates anyway. My order as of yesterday still has a ETA of 4/10 - well I know thats not gonna happen. So take any delivery date with a LARGE grain of salt.

 

I was just on BON and a guy posted his VIN asking if anyone could "track" it. Someone then posted his window sticker and said based on it, his car was built on 04/07/2010.

I did not realize that the build date was on the window sticker, so I looked the whole thing over and finally saw what COULD be this date. Up on top left, there is a group of smaller numbers between two sets of larger font numbers ... "120100407" Not sure what the first 1 means, but the rest spells out 2010 04 07 if I'm correct.

My window sticker (attached) shows 120100415 in this same spot which if this really is the "build date" would mean my car was built YESTERDAY !!

Dealer also ordered a Black Premium MT GT for stock later the same day (as my order) and it is supposedly scheduled to arive at the same time as my car. I'm pretty sure the sales manager (and maybe even my sales gal) would like to test drive my car, so I'll get a chance to test drive the GT too.

Cars are currently scheduled to arrive at my dealership around April 28th ... the excitement is starting to build and it is going to be a long two weeks !!

Mine has a date of 4/15 also.. I called ford a bit ago and got a very nice woman named Nancy on the phone... She looked up my car and was able to tell me it's in the Body Shop getting a nice coat of black paint. It should be produced and sitting in the lovely Detroit weather by end of day.
