Yeah you get to put your top down! Lucky . What exhaust do you have?

So....my modding budget is zero and I'll just have to be happy taking great care of her as is!

But yes, I can only imagine how good the full sound!
I understand Kyle. Next time you're in Iowa, we will have to meet up so you can hear her in person hehe

So I pulled Khaleesi out of the garage, lifted her onto jackstands and installed that MGW, dropped her down, gave her a careful wash, and went for a quick test drive. But that wasnt the beauty. Two days later I got the chance to have a whole evening with her, meeting the rest of the impatient auto enthusiasts on Woodward, braving the testy Royal Oak PD. The streets were alive, with sound of 5.0 music! **** I love this car with side pipes open!

Side note: i don't blame anyone for getting their hands on a '13 or '14, but in my truly, honest reflection, the '10-'12 looks so much better. I dont even envy the tail lights anymore. I actually like the cut the '12 takes, down into the bumper, giving it some style. The, I put the MMD tail light bezel on and I am quite happy with it. that shiny blackout panel on '13 blends into their lights and makes the whole rear end look like a shiny black band-aid. I love my cowl hood, and pointy front end, i feel like the '13 looks like someone punched a '12 in the mouth and gave it a fat lip. Sorry to hate on the '13, because I still like it, but it just feels good to love what I have instead of wanting the newer, "upgraded" model.

I agree with both of you. 2013s are nice, but there's "something" about our 12s that I just love. The rear, front, hood... All equals WIN.

I sure Marilyn was glad to see the light of day also. Like kco I love living in the south. Even in the dead of winter, there are some prefect days to enjoy a ride.

Btw, Marilyn is a beauty. Has she got a sister.

Our daytime highs are barely getting above freezing, and they are still forecasting for snow this Thursday. It will probably be at least another few weeks before I can even get out of my alley..

Usually I have the car out for 3 weeks by now..but this winter has been a long one. We've had snow on the ground for 6 months now.

Wed will be getting the minor swirls out of my Race Red paint (used a dirty pad last fall on the PC.... Doh!). Then whipping out the wide angle lens for a photoshoot. Weather is supposed to be perfect, taking the day off and taking a long cruise...

Just to be clear, I love winter just as much here up north in Canada.

Drove the mustang everyday on ice and snow with advanced-trac off, the car is amazingly fun to drive in snow.

Agreed. Winter is what you make of it. And when you get dumped on for 5-6 months of the year, you find other ways to have fun. We hit up Golden BC this year and had 55cm in 3 days!

But now we are at the stage where the streets are covered in sand and slush, which cover the tire eating, tie rod bending potholes. Waiting till they at least sweep the main roads.. and do some patching.
