-STEEDA disagrees that it voids the warranty
-STEEDA in no way claims that it will not void the warranty
-STEEDA works closely with ford and will resolve issues, but every ford dealer is different and it depends on that dealership.
-STEEDA CAI requires a tune, they stand behind their products 100% , tuner however is not a steeda product.
-After tune you cannot reverse it back to stock because Ford will see a flash hs been done
-STEEDA will not pay for your rental car if need be and its their CIA/Tune related.
-STEEDA will not pay your court fees or fight ford with you if you decided to fight ford in court on warranty void issue, even tho they work so closely with ford.

if only STEEDA didn't do smoke an mirrors on its customers... I'm off the STEEDA wagon

ill probably just go K&N filter and will get my 3HP that way and will not worry about removing it during service or voiding anything

The people that want companies to pay for you to beable to mod your engine and still be 100% covered then want ford to warranty it if anything goes wrong are strange and confusing to me 0.o

I cant speak about everyone's motives on here, only my own, so let me address this.

The disconnect here was the original concern is, will this CAI + Tune have an effect on my warranty. Steeda came in and said they stand behind their products 100%. That is where all this comes from. We know the tune voids (depending on dealer) the warranty but Steeda says it hurts nothing, wont hurt warranty, wont do anything but great fluffy happy stuff. So then people began asking, if it DOES hurt warranty will you make it right (because they just got done saying this product is stood behind 100%). It was all a matter of presentation and follow through. I know full well if I want a BOSS intake, I have to have Ford install it and buy it through Ford and thats going to cost me much more than buying it from a 3rd party and installing it myself. That is the nature of the game. I dont expect American Muscle to pay for my car if I buy it from them. All I ever wanted was for Steeda to stand proud and say, "Yes it can void your warranty."

Which they did say, they never denied that.

Anyone who wants an after market performance part company to pay or their rental car or their lawyer is just plain foolish.

STEEDA's point is they have never had to go thru that process since they have never had anything fail or cause issues. When the time comes
For their first go at it in sure they will have answers for you. Everyone get your panties out of your a$s crack and move on with your life. Complaining on an online forum is a waste of time. If you don't like STEEDA's reply or policies, move on and forget about them, don't whine here for 5 days. I'm sure there's better stuff to do in your lives.

Also if you are too worried about modding then why are you in the forums regarding modding while under warranty.

The bottom line is, of you mod your car you are subject to warranty work denial in that general field. Plain and simple, whether you supercharge or change out to an LED bulb.

I just gotta say, I love this thread and everyone in it. Can't wait to see Steeda's response to JLT and all of the fanboy comments on either side of the argument. And the dissection of each and every syllable that everyone types. It's all good stuff.

After about page 3 or 4 I refused to mire myself down in this miserable, BS, name-calling thread any more. However, to the Mods: I propose locking it and putting it out of our misery.
