If it wasn't for the rear of the 2010 I think I would have to trade in the 08 when the 5.0 comes out. But I'm not even sure the 5.0 will be enough to get me over the rear of the redesign. I'm not just talking about the plastic around the bottom either, the whole thing looks bad to me. I was really hoping when I saw it in person I would like it better than the pictures but I actually liked it less, if that is possible. The entire rest of the car is beautiful, especially the interior, but the rear totally ruins it for me. Maybe the aftermarket will come out with something and change my mind though.

A CIA and tune can be done to both and they will both go quicker. Once the modding starts it becomes a different game
My 06 GT had a Vortech HO putting 447 HPto the wheels so compared to that the Challenger is a lot slower.

Well, Slocus is paid off, so I'm saving up for the '11. I'm ready for a 5.0 again. Hmmmmm. I wonder if the intake bolt pattern is the same from 4.6 to 5.0... Wouldn't that be re-living the glory days (289/302/351)? It'd make it easier for me to explain to the wife why I bought a S/C for a car (engine) that doesn't exist yet.

Plan on keeping my '05. Only thing I absolutely like better on the new model is the interior. Might just get a SVT Fiesta or Focus or what ever the sport version will be when those cross the border.

I doubt if Ford officials would be excited by the results of our poll so far. They need help NOW. I hope that things pick up for Ford, but since we are the core support for the Mustang and most of us don't think the '10 differences warrant a trade in, Ford isn't going to get a big sales boost, at least not from the Mustang. I have to wonder what the current financial crisis will do to Ford's future offerings? Twelve months ago, we were reliving the '60s muscle car era. Who knows what we've got to look forward to now? Electro-hybrid boxes, or what people really want - style, quality, and power? Maybe the manufacturers will get their act together and this'll turn out to be a good thing in the long run. I'm still not trading in my '08 SGT though.
