I'll be waiting to order a 2012. Hopefully the 5.0 will be out for a year by then, and Ford or the aftermarket will have addressed some of the more controversial styling choices such as all the black plastic on the rear and the mutton chops on the front. If not, then I will just order a 2012 Camaro SS.

Not sure yet
Is'nt the 3.73 only available as the track pack with 19" wheels? I only like to polished 18's or the OEM 18's.

I actually think the exterior of the Camaro looks better than the 2010 Mustang GT, I especially like how the "hips" are executed on the Camaro. IMHO they are more well defined and agressive looking. I agree that the Mustang's interior is way better looking than the Camaro interior though. I would be willing to sacrifice the nicer interior of the Mustang for the extra 100+hp that the SS has over the GT however

Really? I think the Camaro's hips try way too hard too look aggressive, and in doing so just come off exaggerated and cartoony.
Personally, I'm more than willing to take a horsepower hit, since I don't subscribe to the 'must beat the other guy' mentality. I'd much rather have the better all-around car, which has always been the Mustang.

I'm perfectly happy with my 05 Mustang GT. It's paid for, never been a problem, drives great, looks great!
I suppose the interior looks better on the '10.....but to me it's not worth it.
I did sit in the glass roof Mustang at the LA Auto Show. It's really really nice! Big and expansive (and expensive)....very slick!

If I had the "must beat the other guy mentality" then I would just mortgage the house and get a ZR1, ha, ha. I really want to get the Mustang, but since it lacks 100+hp on the SS, and lacks an IRS, I dont' know if you could really call the Mustang GT the better all-around car. I am sure the car mags will be doing comparos soon enough.
Since I won't be ordering either the SS or the GT until the 2011-2012 timeframe anyway, hopefully the Mustang will have risen to the Camaro SS challenge, and I can go with the Mustang. Why, because the build quality on my Mustang was superior to any of my Corvettes, so I would like to have a Mustang in the stable, along with a classic Corvette.

Is the Camaro even going to happen? I have heard that it might be cut completely due, to well you know....

I do, I do, I really do, I am just so torn Oh well, all the wanting and indecision will help to keep me interested and longing for them both until I am done battling the ice and snow up here in Kodiak.
