The difference is obviously not much but do we know what they changed yet?
I have skimmed most of the information on the refresh but I still haven't spotted the details on the motor changes.

It's just rated again. We all knew it makes more than 412hp. They're simply changing it on their brochures and advertisements. GM did the same thing with the 2012 V6 camaro. Made it 312 from 304 because the mustang has 305.
I doubt anything changed. It's always made that much anyways.

My guess is they are installing the FRPP Pro-Cal tune into all the new mustangs....except the Skip shift delete part of it anyways.
Maybe a tad far fetched....but it would be cool if this was the case!

As I stated in the other thread, ford probably did a statistical analysis of what was coming off the line and decided they could safely advertise 420hp. Maybe some small software changes and perhaps something that reduced internal friction some tiny amount but certainly not 2%. At 2% they would be telling us specifically what they changed.

The extra 8 hp is to offset the extra paint weight on the rockers/bumper and heavier looking shelby front end so that it can keep up with the 11/12's
