Let me complain once again on how Ford option out their cars. I wanted the Red Candy paint for the '11 but some bonehead decided I couldn't have it with the Red Brick interior. For 2010 it wasn't a problem, so why not for the '11? Especially since I was ordering my car.

I found this strange that you could not get the red brick with red candy. Makes no sense to me at all.

I think Red Candy is gorgeous. There's only one thing that kept me from ordering it: the tinted clearcoat. I knew I was going to have a little custom body work done. I knew I'd have to pray that the body shop did a good job matching the paint, but with Red Candy I'd also have to hope they could accurately match the tint in the clearcoat.

The color comes off as a flat shade in pictures, but you really see the depth in sunlight IMHO.
This is true. My current ride is Red Candy, and when it is clean and in direct sunlight it looks amazing. Unfortunately, I can count on one hand how many times it has looked that way. Most of the time it is a drab, burgundy color. If there's any cloud cover at all you just don't see the flake, unless you're standing right next to it.
