I ordered a 2012 gt with the remote start. Do the keys now have the door lock/unlock, trunk and panic on them? I've seen on eBay auctions for the cars that they do, yet people are saying that they don't. Anyone know?

 

My '11 has them on the key, so I would assume the '12 does as well.

 

Remote start is on a separate fob. Gm has been putting the remote start on same fob as keyless since 05 and ford has yet to do it. Frustrating.

 

'12 keys are identical to '11 keys.

 

i logged onto ebay and bought a remote key fob to go along with the one on the key. works great:

Probably no way to program the remote start code on the key itself, right? Like replacing the panic key code with the remote start?

My 2011 F350 has the remote start on the key, not a seperate fob. At least some Fords are keeping up with GM.
