What I hate about dealerships (aka why I can't have a GT500)
This is why we ordered our car. We did not want all the extras! It's extremely HARD to find a car that is not loaded! We did not want PP or track pack, navigation, or recaros. We also are not tracking the car. (There really are no tracks in the area anyways.) We never use the navigation in our Avalanche. That's why I have a smart phone! lol All we ordered was Shaker Pro and stripe delete. Luckily, we got it for under MSRP form our local small town "stealership." lol
There are cars out there like others have said. You just have search and search! Good luck!
Not to Jack the thread Danielle, but if the stealership get their head out of their A$$ and throws something in!...... We are still in "negotiations".

www.hilbishmotor.com Ruby Red, and absolutely beautiful. I drooled over it last week. $67,560.00 MSRP. In North Carolina, so at least it's on the east coast.
Same issue I had but for the Boss 302 - I get corporate pricing, but Boss is excluded & nothing is going for MSRP... Couldn't compare with the pricing I got on my GT.
Good luck finding a Shelby!
Good luck finding a Shelby!
if 65k is in your range then instead of settling for dealerships in your area like others have said, make it a weekend field trip. I did this with a friend a long time ago who wanted a Z06 Corvette and local dealerships were marking them up. So we found one at a dealership half a state away (FL), and they worked out the numbers and as much as they could over the phone and email. Saturday morning we loaded up and took a road trip, 5 hour drive to pick up the car of his dreams and put some fun-loving break in miles on it on the way home.
If its something you want, and you can afford it and are ready for it, go the extra mile, literally, pun intended and all that

I've seen a bunch of Boss 302's for under MSRP, just have to look a little.
i went to a local dealer to look at a new 2013 gt 500, and they gave me a price of 7000 over sticker, i told them no way the 2014 models are all ready out, that makes this car last years model so i went to another dealer and ordered a 2014 gt 500 for 1000 over invoice the car has been on order 2 months as of today (3/5/13) with no vin # yet cant sign a contract so the price could change when the car gets built, dealers will tell you anything to get the sale, time will tale
Many dealerships are spawns of Satan. The ones that are marking up GT500s are going totally against what the great Carroll Shelby stood for. Watch this and listen to what the great one says about it in his own words. Here's to Carroll and me flipping off those dealerships. Go open up a Government Motors dealership and sell Corvettes.

that is what the dealer all so said, however kbb listed the 13 gt 500 under sticker price, (@fair market price) so who do you believe dealer lip service or paper stats? and i bet the man told ford to ditch that rear axle ( off camera off course)

I flew one way from Cali to Dallas (for a whole $150) to get my brand-new '12 GT500 for $8K below MSRP and drove it home. It was a very fun trip.
The '13/'14's are a little different than my '12 obviously, but they are still easy to get and there is no reason to pay over MSRP, and there are instances where you can get one for much, much less if you are willing to do a little extra leg work.
