What did you pay for your 2011 - 2012 GT?

Dealers have to make profit that's why they exist, no one sells under invoice (they call it cost in Canada) I worked at Subaru they rather not sell the car than sell it under cost...it's the marketing tools they use to make the consumer "think" it's under cost...

Question for 05fordgt -
Rebates in the Northeast (NJ, specifically) don't seem to be as good as the southeast - we cannot, for instance, combine the cash and 0%. If I purchase out of state, what determines the rebate eligibility - state of purchase or residence?
Thanks,
Matt

-2000 Ford rebate
-2000 USAA discount
-2,400 negotiating with dealer on the last day of the month and they are willing to sell one more car way under price to get a better Ford incentive for that month. Winning!
Out the door 32,500. Engine blew up before the first 5000 miles though FAIL.

What dealer is selling 1 to 2K under invoice? Realistically? I've always been an advocate of using Consumers Reports for pricing out a new vehicle. Depending on the sales counts and prices, they calculate how much a dealer will sell at, or under sticker; not discounting the invoice at all. The average discount for the 2011 Mustang at the time I was looking was around $700.00. Of course options are also negotiable, as they are marked 10 to 15% higher. I don't however see a dealer going 2K UNDER invlice, unless it is a leftover model at the end of the year, and the new models are available.
I felt I got a good deal for my recent 2011 used Mustang Premium V6. It has leather, the 3:31 rear, premium package, and a few other small extras. I paid 20K, and after my down payment of 5K, got a Ford credit finance rate of 1.9%.
I wish I would have seen an honest 2K under invoice....I may have bought the 2012, but this 2011 was loaded with only 3300 miles on it.

That's why I can't ever bring myself to buy a brand new car. You lose SO much the minute you drive it off the lot. I bought my '11 V6 Vert Premium (I know this is a thread about GTs) with a 100,000 mile Ford ESP warranty for under $21k with just over 22k miles. I have a copy of the original sticker..was over $33k.

MSRP for my 2012 V6 Premium Silver/Stone Mustang was $31,630. I paid $27,680. I am happy with it but, it's not what the dealer advertised. They had this car internet priced at $26,730 and had a link to youtube that says they pay 120% Kelly blue book. So, while I am happy overall, it ended up being a fight, price wise (I hate that). I was expecting to walk in and pay the internet price that I had printed out ($26,730) and $12,000 trade in of my 2008 GT/CS with Pioneer Avic D3 & auto dim/temp rear mirror and shake hands and go home. So, I had to pay $27,680, they gave me $11,500 on my trade and since I live in Virginia and bought the car in Maryland, they said they couldn't add the sales tax. That will be added in Virginia (around $870). On my satisfaction survey I said I would NOT recommend this dealer because they don't honor their own internet price.

Hi,
OK, if you need to drive a Mustang in GERMANY , it is much more expensive than in the state´s....
The VIN Sticker says for our 2011 GT Conv. Autom. , Trim Accent Pack, Sec. Pack, Comfort Pack 46000 $ ...
if you wan´t to import the car to Germany you pay the same in Euro´s... when the exchange rate is 1€´-1,30$....
that´s live, but the feeling to drive a REAL V8 in Germany .... it is not affordable..
a BMW M3 coast 70000Euro´s in Germany...
Happy Christmas from Germany

FromZto5, yes, that's mainly because I had 120,000 miles on it. It would have been worth $17,000 if I had only put 50,000 miles on it. Whoever ends up with my old CS is going to have a nice car. I added a glass roof, auto darkening/tempurature rear mirror, near new tires, brand new FR500 style wheels, painted on quiet car under the back seat and trunk to make a quieter ride and was kept in a garage every day. I had a FRPP cai with Brenspeed tunes also but took that off before trading to sell separately. Even though it had a lot of miles, they were mostly hwy miles and the car ran as good as new. I never put a set of brakes on the car and didn't need to.

If nobody bought new then there would be nothing used to buy
