The one thing I think Florida has over Texas is the Atlantic coastline. I do love Daytona and ft lauderdale.

Yes, that's a beautiful drive. When I get the Shelby I plan on driving down to st aug through Pensacola and panama beach, then driving back up the A1A. very much looking forward to it.

I booked an appointment to install the clear bra on the front bumper and hood.

FYI, anyone who is thinking about installing a precut clear-bra ont he bumper themselves, it is alot trickier than it seems in some youtube videos.

i tried to install them myself, but the bumper is really tricky, i got it on there nicely after A WHOLE afternoon of work eventually but there were some bubbles which i was not happy with, so i tore it off and decided to just have a shop to do it for me. and just to clarify that i'm not bad with my hands, i'm usually really good with DIY stuff. as a car-loving teenager I had done pretty much everything with a car from oil change to clutch replacement, and engine rebuilding, and even painting. I like to do everything myself. Not an experience mechanic/detailer by any measure but i was confident i could do the clear-bra myself. but it turned out significantly harder than it looks and it's worth to spend the money to have a experienced detailer to do it.

Took it to go pick up some lunch and got caught in a hail storm that popped up out of nowhere in the 15 minutes I was gone. Sunshine and hailstones, what a combination.

I'm now eagerly waiting to leave work so I can take it home, dry it off, and thoroughly inspect it for damage.

Replaced the other o2 sensor since my car ate both of them in a matter of a week and a half. Pretty impressive if you think about it. The last one went down in the car wash, leaky o2 sensor pig tail plug

Smart! You are very correct, sir - it's a job for the trained specialist (our local expert attended a 2-week class years ago). Looks like you're getting ready for that trip.

Its funny, there's a thread like this on a bike forum I belong to called "what did you do to your V4 today?", really popular and you find people do some pretty **** cool stuff with their toys. Yeah there'll be a lot of ones too that are just "I drove it", but hell as long as it keeps you inspired.

I've got an idea for a post but I can't make it happen just yet, gotta wait for the weekend when I'll have a twisty road at my disposal

Isn't there another thread of this in the chat sub forum? Mods should consolidate.

I went out for a cruise and clocked my first 0-60 run after installing the Roushcharger. Quite gutted since my new runs matched my old runs even with 200 more HP and GT500 lower control arms.

Need to find a way to put that power down. I have my Roush upper control arm coming, but I'm thinking those Pirelli P Zeros have to go. I need something much more sticky to get that power to the road. I'm just squealing the Pirellis.
