well, this was weird.... the normal reply box was not showing, instead just "related threads" so I'm using "quick reply" from the post above ... but I digress ....
I got my TPMS sensors replaced, finally! I have 2010 GT500 wheels, and at least one of the sensors went dead about a year ago, I finally got tired of the light on the dash and had them replaced. The batteries are supposed to last 7 years or so; I can't complain about 13 years. No more warning light, life is good!
For those of you who think they are silly, because you should be able to use a tire gage to check your tire pressure the old fashioned way: that is very hard to do, while driving down the highway at 75 MPH. My TPMS sensors have saved me twice (or was it three times?) when I had a tire going down while driving on the highway; the sensor warning gave me enough time to pull in to a rest area, instead of changing a flat in the breakdown lane.
If it had not lit up I would not have been able to get off the freeway before the tire went flat, possibly destroying my rim, and leaving me stranded in freeway traffic on a Sunday in Utah. Nearly everything is shutdown in Utah on a Sunday.
Drove mine to work today. Feels good to have gotten to the bottom of 2 noises that were driving me crazy recently, and to have fixed my fuel boost-a-pump wiring issues
Yes, she's dirty. But I'm driving it, and more than 2 miles at a time and rushing it back to the garage, LOL
Did you actually fix this once-and-for-all?
I thought the prob. came back. What exactly cured the problem, or more accurately, what caused the problem?

Well, she's been starting and running as expected.
My last fix was taking apart all the connections to the BAP and re-doing everything.
I found a pretty crappy connection and improved on all of them.
Getting a solid 17V now going to the Fuel Pump Driver Module from the BAP.
I initially thought replacing the BAP relay fixed the issue, but the last time I worked on it I tried every relay I have (I recently bought 2 new ones again, so I have 6 relays now), and the car started OK regardless of which one I had installed.
That basically told me the issue was somewhere else, so I stopped looking into a relay issue and decided to take the BAP out. When I did that I found the barely-there connection that I think was my problem all along.
When I put it back together, I added some quick connect/disconnect connectors so now if I have issues again, I can disconnect the BAP and bypass it using wiring that's already there, just 2 quick connections and car runs again only on the factory fuel pump.
Thanks. And Yeah, I drive it every week, take it to work at least once a week. It's been great.
Whipple whining, Borlas barking
Good stuff, believe it or not, my TVS whines like a banshee when I beat on it. The sound alone is enough to cause jaw-dropping when someone rides along. Then the cursing and trembling starts
I took my 2011 GT on a roadtrip today (well, a two-hour ride) for the first time in ages. Drove to a part of the metro area I'd never been to and saw some interesting sights. Nice to get out on the highway for once, and my mileage showed it. Averaged well above 20 MPG.
Just getting my Mustang fix as my beast sleeps through the not so cold (mild this year) winter months. That is when I will actually get to do something more than look at it under the cover. I really am looking forward to an early spring. Of course that is when we will probably get our winter.
My 2 are being stored, so I thought about when the snow will melt so I can get one or both back on the road...

Actually had a great weather day a few days ago. Woke up sleeping beauty and drove it around. Feels great to have the car back. Weather not so good the last couple of days but tomorrow we are expecting sunny and supposed to hit 62, so likely another great day. For a drive.

Steve! We also had a great weather day today, at least temp wise anyhow, as it got to 77 degrees... The not-so-great weather was it down poured all afternoon, but I'll settle for warm temps any day over those blistering, cold bomb cyclones we had over the winter.

Wow 77 and to think a week or so ago the eastern US was fridgid. I was in southern Florida and it was coldeer than Boise. Not sure why I went there for more winter. 🤣. The temps sound like early summer, hope the rain did not cause serious flooding.
